The gift to a child is more important than to an adult, it may influence him/er in the future. So, What would you choose?

I would give them books more than toys. I want them to value reading, tickle their imagination and bring out their creativity.

I will give playstation 2 or xbox 360 to a kid if he is up to 7 or 8 years. If he is under 5 then i will give him chocolates. If he is a teenager then i will give him a computer because these are things wihc kids want today. Thanks

Haha, your idea is very different from others. You will be regarded as the best man in the world by the kid who receive your gift.

I prefer giving books rather than giving toys. If you exposed kids to books at an eraly age, you encourage them to love reading. It will also develop their comprehension and imagination.

It would depend on the character of that child. What does he/she like? what is their hobby? But... overall.. I would most likely give something that would stimulate their mind and build their character like puzzles, building tools or picture books.

If I am asked to give a gift to a little gift, I will definitely choose giving a personalized scrapbook. That scrapbook will contain pictures from his infancy, as well as bits of stories from the pictures or memories of his infancy - through the mom's perception. I know being a young kid, he/she would not appreciate it, but I will just give it to the mom for safe keeping until the child is old enough to understand. I am sure when the child grows up and sees the scrapbook, it will give the child a little glimpse of his/her past, therefore making the child know more about him/herself.

I'll probably give the kid a book to read maybe 100 stories from the bible, it's a children story book only that the stories where based on the bible.. the book is a great gift for any children because they will learn many values from it...

Em, that's a good idea. In my country, there is no god, no relief, I have to find the answer all by myself when I'm in trouble.

I would get them what I think they would like - something pertaining to one of their interests, hobbies, or passions. Things that spark their imagination and creativity make especially wonderful gifts, so hopefully knowing what they're interested in, I can find something that would keep them occupied but in a productive rather than "lazy" sort of way - they would get something positive out of it. But again, I cannot name a specific item because every child is different, so I would have to know the child before I know precisely what I would get him/her. If it is for someone I don't know, it would probably be a book of some sort... or Barnes and Noble gift certificates - they always seem to go over well.

Its a hard question to answer. firstly, the age of the child need to be considered. I would like to know the interests and desires of the particular child if possible. depending on his/her interest, i would moslty suggest to give a book which suits her/his career growth
