We learn something new every day.

We may not realise it sometimes but, we really learn something new every day. It may be on the news or someone we talk to. I learnt today on the tv that sheep only have to nipples to feed from. If they have three born then one is taken away to be fed from those that only have one born! Fascinating eh! What did you learn today?

You are right. We do learn everyday. Since my day has only begun I will tell you what I learned yesterday. No matter how well behaved a four year old may be, 5 hours at the mall is too long. They will melt down.

Yes, we do learn something new every day, my dear friend, and what's more, we pass on our knowledge to others, who in turn, pass their knowledge even further down the line. Life's lessons are very important to our quality of life, I feel. I learned today that even when the World looks grey and dismal, the Sun will always come out and balance everything. The negative start to the year, was the grey, dismal day, but Saturday, the Sun came out and has continued to do so, for the last three days. Something I noticed this morning taught me that for every negative, there is a positive, and that all things will balance out, if we only look to the future with a positive mental attitude, and work towards obtaining and maintaining this balance. Brightest Blessings, my dear friend. x

It's just my deep way of thinking. The clouds represent the negatives and obstacles in life, but we know the Sun (positive), is always there if only we can overcome the obstacles. The Universe is made to balance, and we have to balance ourselves, in order to live our lives to the fullest and best we can.

I suppose it is the same as batteries in a way as they all have a poitive and a negative and when joined up the current starts to flow.

A great response as usual and you pointed out that the weather can look grey and dismal or bright and chheery when the sun comes out. But reall the sun is ALWAYS ther it's just that we cannot see it due to the clouds being in between the ground and the outer atmosphere. So even if we cannot see the sun we can have it in our hearts and have a positive mental attitude towards life all the time. Blessings to you as well my friend.

You are right deeeky. I learn so much since i join mylot. I found some fashionating habit and way at dealing life from my friend at mylot. i learn that we can't depend on upper referral to help us to gain earning. And my discussion i made today.

Having a referral is ok if the referral is contributing to discussions on mylot. I have fifteen but they are all dormant.

Another good point that you have made in learning. We can teach others as well as learning. And if we can do that everyday then we lead a better life.

we do learn from all walks of life...from people we don't know personally but has in some way touched a part of our soul and realized valuable things in life... today, I've learned to appreciate the value of taking things one at a time...as I am always hasty with all my work as if I'm always running out of time..therefore, I always feel exhausted and burdened everyday, overlooking what joy this day was able to bring me... Life must always be appreciated ..and that's what I've learned to day and I'm happy about it...

The wonders of life are certainly here to be appreciated. Taking one day at a time is the only way to live and making sure that we put our best into the day.

When feeling down that is the time to think that today could be your last as we know not what tomorrow will bring. So live for today as the past has gone and do the best we can do till bed beckons.

Printing barcodes on my printer has never been my intention but if the need had arisen then that is definately something to learn about.

That's an interesting fact about the sheep. It would be hard on a ewe to raise more than two lambs anyway. They grow so quick and that're so greedy! I breed dogs, and I know that girl dogs can have varying numbers of nipples. It doesn't make a difference to how many pups they have in a litter though. We've had from 2 pups up to ten pups raised in one litter. If there's a big litter, you have to work harder to make sure the pups all have a feed. You have to do that when you have a little pup too, otherwise they get shoved to one side by the big bullies. If a little pup gets pushed aside too often it can get cold and die, so puppy raising can be lots of hard work. Puppies are so cute though! I love the smell of a newborn pup's breath. It is one of the most wonderful things. Some girl dogs are the most wonderful mothers and I hardly have to do anything up until it's time to start the babies on solids.

I would not have a pet for the reason that they require a lot of attention and I would not have the time for them. I do not like to see a dog chained to a railing barking when it's master has gone elsewhere to chores.

Yes, in fact we really do not notice it because it's just simple things that no one really cares about. We also fail to appreciate these things because we are moving in life too fast that we sometimes forget to take short stops and view the surroundings.

Yes doing nothing and stopping for a while is as good as a rest that is needed to recharge our batteries so to speak.

I did know that about sheep but I also know that I learn something new every day from reading discussions at myLot. I think everyone can and should learn something new each day. Knowledge is power. The more you know the more you can understand about the ways of the world.

Very true my friend. Power to the people and knowledge will gives us more power. MyLot has an abundance of knowledge that has been posted since coming on to the web since it started , and much more knowledge is being posted by the minute.

Hi deeeky, I totally agree with you there. We do learn something new everyday. Today I learned that people in this country (Trinidad) are crazy over that "No Air" song by "Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown." But it is still early in the day, so I could probably find a more useful thing that I've learned later on today. Yesterday I learned something more important though. Some people dream in black and white! I guess it seems new as I dream in full colour.

I have never paid attention to that and never gave it a thought! Looking back at my dreams I cannot visualise whether it was in colour or not, so next time I must pay attention more closely
