Have you ever been Hacked?? I have read many situations and testimonials on people who got hacked. I do not know if I have experienced being hacked because my computer seems to be working fine. I have read that there are instances that you just do not know that your computer have already been compromised. I do not want that to happen. I would just like to ask people out there what are the signs when your computer is being hacked?

i have been hacked a month ago. i know because i monitor my network and found anonymous connection was established to my computer. after i check it, my computer upload huge data through that connection, but i never try to upload something through my network. i think it's kind of trojan, but my antivirus didn't detect it. i block the connection using firewall and after that my network become normal again.

No matter how a home computer is connected to the Internet, intruders' attacks are often successful. Many home computer owners don't realize that they need to pay attention to computer security. In the same way that you are responsible for having insurance when you drive a car, you need to also be responsible for your home computer's security.

When your computer is hacked it will normally tell you that you have been accessed from a remote location. It will ask if you want to add that location as a remote access location for a computer network. Other than that if it is a silent attack then there is rarely any foolprrof way to either detect that you have been hacked. Nor fight against it.

hi jarves, i think i never been hacked, but who knows? may be they uploaded some Trojans to my computer, i don use anti viruses because they make me scared, and i hate all the notifications. u cant be so sure that you never been hacked, your computer may work fine but what they steal is your personal data (identity theft) but i don care about that because am not resident of US, i don use credit card and if you want to know that whether they uploaded Trojans or spy wares, just simply install some anti virus and then you will see the result, try kaspersky, its very cool, they can't pass through it, it detects all processes that tries to attach them selves to other loading programs, anyways try it, happy my lotting!!

I would guess less than 1 in 100k people who think they have been hacked have actually been hacked. Infected with a virus adware, malware etc sure, but hacked very unlikely. Being hacked actually requires a person on the other end of the connection that cares enough to get into your system, and frankly most people aren't that interesting. Business and big websites get hacked because they contain useful data on many people that can be exploited, most private users on the other hand aren't smart enough to make their machine hackable much less contain anything worth searching for and stealing.
