My thoughts on lesbians are: I wish certain lesbians would stop saying I'm one of them, or that I'm just pretending I like girls. *sighs*
Other than that, lesbians are great. I've even dated a couple. Like any other group, there are good people, and there are bad people. I just get tired of the whole bad attitude towards bisexuality that some specific ones have taken with me, but not everyone is like that.

yes the lesbians do not like bi's because if they were to get together with one they would just leave them for a man. I can understand that point of veiw completely.

*laughs* I'm not still upset over it or anything, it just came up because I was thinking about this topic. I'm actually pretty active in GLBT community stuff, so it's not like I'm holding some kind of grudge. Though I could see how it sounded like it, when I read back over my posts. I didn't mean it that way. Sorry!

I have never met a lesbian, but I do not think they are all wonderful people. Would that mean that those who are not lesbians are not wonderful people? There are probably some lesbians who are nice, and some that are not nice. Your gender preference does not determine if you are nice and I do wonder whether you have met some that were not nice, but were afraid to say that because of the present climate that we all have to approve of their life style. In other word,s if you said that there is one lesbian woman who was very bossy, beat up others, and was cruel to her children that a whole lot of lesbians and same genders will flame you here on myLot and call you all so many horrible names.
I do wonder if your four neighbors are all lesbians because to me a lesbian is a woman who wants to have s*x with another woman rather then men. Two women living together is not a definition of a lesbian relationship. They may just be trying to save money.

hi dragonflyfli, from my point of view those who like lesbians are also lesbians, may be you are a lesbian or you are on your way to turn out lesbian, which is not a cool idea, many people hate lesbians and they are neglected from the society, i don believe in bible but if you do i think you are in problem, so in my opinion being lesbian is such a shame, sorry if my words are rude, i don like lesbian and gay peoples, thats why!

I used to be homophobic when I was younger and very closed-minded. I regret making some rude remarks at the sight of butches. But getting to know a lot of lesbians, my views on homosexuality has changed. I see them as any other individual. I hate the fact that they are constantly discriminated against. The discrimination is what keeps some lesbians miserable. Some of the lesbians I know say that sometimes they feel pressured to really excel just to prove "that being different doesn't mean being less"(quoted from a forum of lezzies).

I agree with you. Love is so great. People love each other very much, that's enough. No matter you are a man or a woman, you can love the other people around you freely.
