I think they got it totally wrong last week. I still can't believe Michael Johns was booted off and I almost don't even want to watch it this week. The only other singer I really enjoy is David Cook. I do like David Archuletta, but I'm not sure he is a winner. he hasn't really raised the bar on his singing and ever since he forgot the words and didn't even go in the bottom three for it, I think he has slacked off thinking that no matter what, he'll be put through. All Johns did was pick the wrong song (I didn't think so) and now he's gone. I hope that woke up some of those that have been picking crappy songs! It should be interesting.
They are doing Mariah Carey songs this week. I can't imagine anyone trying to or even wanting to sing her songs. Must have been a an executive decision by Randy as I think he promotes her.

I was thoroughly disgusted too about Michael johns getting voted off. I truly thought he would be one of the last ones on. I've commented this on a number of discussions here and I'm still ticked off.
I'll watch it again this week, but I'm going to cheat since we're on the west coast and see who's been voted off before I watch it. I think I won't get as upset maybe and maybe I don't care as much now. I really like Brooke, I don't think she'll win, but I like her. Last week one of the past idols was being on a show here - they said David Archuletta would probably win, but they didn't think he was marketable. @catjane (1036)

I like Brooke too, in fact, she was our choice to win right from the get go, but she needs to raise the bar and show she is better than what she has been doing. I just know she can do it. I would hate to see her go. I'll watch it this week and see what happens.

I totally agree Michael has consistently been in my top 3, David Cook is my favorite and I just love Jason he is so adorable how can you not like him! I was hoping to see Shyesha or Kristy Lee go I can't believe either of them has made it this far.

I know, me either. I like all the guys and I hope they are all in the top three. I thought Michael would have been in the top 3, how disappointing. My top 3 are....David Cook, David A and Jason if he keeps raising the bar he might get up there! he is adorable. Bye, bye girls LOL.

I do think it was wrong last week. I think it will be one of the girls this week. I cannot wait to see who it will be.

I think that they got it totally wrong last week too with Michael Johns. I used to like David Archuletta alot too but he does not have any variety in his music. I think this week will be great also. I would have to say that I really like Jason Castro now that Michael is gone.
