I try to go to the gymn 3 times a week with hubby. We both had shoulder operations and need to exercise them. Shoulders take a very long time to heal. While we are there we do other exercises to keep us in shape. Everyone should try and exercise 2 to 3 times a week. Do you?

I have an exercise bike and a treadmill here at home but never make the time to use them. It is awful. I am so hung up on trying to make money online to help my family out. I wish I did have the time for myself to exercise, but I stay wore out. I know I need to exercise more. I know my body surely needs it.

I have started going to the gym once or twice a day depending on how much time I have. I need to lose alot of weight and the first step is exericsing. I feel so good after I exercise. And hey I am paying almost $50 a month for it I might as well use it.

I try to work out at least 20 minutes every day. Each day, I do a different kind of exercise, so I'm working different muscles and try to avoid feeling any pain. Today is one of those days that exercise is going to be difficult, as my back is hurting a lot. I was digging up plants yesterday and some of them were quite heavy to move.

I try to work on the tredmill (or anywhere) for at least 30 mins a day...I try to do this everyday for the most part. Walking is about the easiest excercise I have found. I feel alot better when I do walk. :)

Yes, I do cardio and weight training with a physical trainer for 1 hours 3 times a week. I do just cardio for 30 minutes 2 other days per week. Exercise is fantastic, not only for our physical health, but for our mental health as well.

i like to answer this question because i always exercise almost every other day. to keep me from becoming weak, i exercise to build muscles, look young, and probably extend my life for couple of years. i like to jog for 30 minutes three times a week. i do push-ups, sit-ups and leg lifts every other day or the day next when i jogg for 30 minutes. i try to alternate these exercises so that i won't hurt myself. i heard that if you do the same exercise every single day, you will hurt yourself because you are using the same muscles without rest. when you want to start exercising program, make sure you rest for 48 hours for the first few intense exercises that you do. you must give your muscles to recuperate so they can be used again.

I used to love going to the gym until I thought of all the sweaty bodies that had been laying there on that vinyl covered bench before I came along and pressed my face into it. It may be nice healthy sweat I don't care. I don't even like breathing the air in a gym.
When I was a kid I was very active. I was always running around, riding my bike, roller skating, climbing trees, building tree forts, and I never had a problem with overweight no matter what I ate, and I ate stuff like fried baloney sandwiches on white bread and enchiladas and ice cream and plenty of candy.
And that's the perspective I like to cultivate. I don't pay attention to what I eat, I eat whatever I want, although I do prefer simple whole foods and gourmet cooking (also plenty of chocolate). And I see to it that I get plenty of exercise in the fresh air, whether that's walking, riding my bike, or gardening doesn't matter. Bodies are built for motion, if you don't move them then they atrophy. I also do yoga and pilates, I jump on a mini trampoline sometimes. I dance. And I do everything in my power to keep myself in a good mood, because I think that is the most important exercise of all.
