What does it mean when a girl tells you "you're not boyfriend material"?

I being trying to go out with this girl that i like since we were in high school. She has rejected me numerous times but that didnt stop me . I really do like this girl. I feel like i can spend my whole life with her.But she's not attracted to me.Maybe it's because im too nice to her. And when i asked her wether or not there's a chance of me and her being together she said "never, you're just not boyfriend material". Like i know wat that means. Im that type of guy that doesn't take NO for an answer. So i'm still trying to get her to like me. It's not like i cant get another girl. This girl is different. She's the only girl that makes my heart beats when i see her.

When somebody tells you you're not boyfriend material, it means you don't match any of her expectancies of a prospective boyfriend... or in other words, she just doesn't and never will have feelings for you.
As much as you care for this girl, I would suggest that you either back off a little for a while, or you move on completely because I don't think she'll ever change her mind about you. I'm sorry to say this, but I believe those words were an emphatic "No".

There are some possibilities about the meaning of 'You're not a boyfriend material' : Maybe she doesn't like your appearance, your behaviour, the way you talk to her, the way you treat her, etc which also mean 'you're not the type of boyfriend that she wants'. To tell you the truth if somebody says this, it will be so hard for you to melt her heart. Wish you good luck anyway...^^
