Have you ever been a blood donor?

Yes, one year ago I went to a blood bank to donate my blood. the reason i did this, in addition to helping other people, that i has been told that donating blood makes my body stronger and missing blood is substituted by a fresh one made by the bone marrow. So, i just like the Idea and went for it. yeah you are right I felt sick may be because it was my first time. but exactly like you I felt proud cause I knew that this blood will go to persons in need.

Congratulations on donating blood, more people should follow your lead. I used to give blood all the time when I lived in Scotland and then when I moved to Canada, but a number of years ago there was an outbreak of mad cow disease in the UK and the blood banks in North America stopped accepting donation from people who hade lived in the UK pre 1985, which included me. It is still the case to this day and as much as I want ti donate, I can't.

Yes, I have donated blood before. I did it my senior year of high school when the Red Cross bus came to my school. I am severely needle phobic but did it because blood was needed and although I felt really sick afterwards, I felt proud of myself for sucking it up and doing something worthwhile.

well ya i have tht rare blood type tht can be given to any one but i cant recive anyone i can only get the same type as me.

Yes i donated my blood 4 times in my life. First time i donated to my blood to my uncle. Then i donated my blood to my aunty then i donated my blood to an unknown person and then i donated my blood to my sister. I am always rady to donate my blood to any needy person. I think blood is a think that everyone can donate. We should donate our blood after every 3 months. This will keep us healthy. And then out liver can produce fresh blood for us. Thanks

yes I am a blood donor. I gave blood for the first time three months ago, and I intend to keep on going. I was afraid at first, but then you feel happy for helping other. By giving blood you will help others who are sick.

I would love to donate blood but unfortunately Ihad hepatitis and that means they will not accept my blood. I would not wish to give anyone hepitatis so am not going to lie to the people in the blood banks. I owe my life to people who donated blood as I had to have four units for bleeding diverticulitis before they could get the bleeding stopped. so I am all for people who can to donate blood.
