I live in Cebu, Philippines and I have always heard of this Bird Sanctuary in Olango Island. This is actually a 30 minute boat ride from where I live but have never had the pleasure of visiting the island. The island was even fatured in local and international magazines since thousand of birds from different countries will always stay for a stop over on the island to find food or to rest. It was even noted that birds as far as China, Vietnam and other Asian countries will make a stop over to the island. Ovbiously it has now become a tourist attraction. So I decided to visit the island and find out for myself, Yes it was an amazing site. Though we have to use a telescope to appreciate it since if you go much closer the birds will fly. But its really a spectacular site. Have you visited any bird sanctuary? Do you enjoy nature by watching birds?

Well, its really nice to see a lot of birds in one place. I am not really familiar with the names of the birds but I do love to see them. My son also loves to see the site. Both of us have binoculars to see from afar.
