me i met my wife at Wal-mart she was working there and I would come in and see her from time to time. Then it was around christmas time and I wanted to get my daughter from my previous marriage some porcelin dolls and she was working the toy area. My heart raced as i approached her to ask if she could help me and she did. After Christmas I had to go by and tell her how happy she made my little girl with the dolls she picked out. And now ^ years later the rest is history. I want to hear your story come on tell us everything

Such a sweet story found. I met my true love in a club. He came up to one of my friends and asked her to dance. She said no but that I would. We danced the rest of the night and at one point I asked him his name. He told me Romeo and asked me mine I am a bit of a jokester so I said Juliet. At closing time he asked for my phone number and I wrote Juliet and my number. He said he may not have called me but I had intrigued him with my name. 18 years later we are still together.

I met him when we were in college, I was a Sophmore and he was a Freshmen. We were introduced by a mutual friend. Actually by a guy who liked me, but I did not know that other guy liked me until later, I just thought he was a friend. I had seen my husband around campus and since I worked at the snack bar which was a popular hang out he was there all the time, but we never talked. The three of us sat and talked and I liked him right away, and he felt the same way, he actually says he fell in love with me that day. The two guys were trying to get people to join the co-ed tennis team, they needed women and I expressed interest. He encouraged me to join and we would practice together all the time, and we would talk for hours, but it took him like 3 weeks to make a move. I started to think he only liked me as a friend, he said he just didn't know how I felt about him. Finally he kissed me after tennis practice one day. 22 years later we are still together.

That is a wonderful life story. It is amazing how two people meet don't you agree? I fell in love with my wife the first time i looked into her eyes. It wasn't until later when she pointed it out to me that she had a whole lot more than beautiful eyes. Her smock she wore covered her back side and Wow !!!! I really was excited about getting to know her then hehehehe Sorry I am a but guy. But the eyes are the doorway to the soul. And I could tell right away her soul was pure and truthful. 22 years is a great accomplishment. my hat off to both of you and congradulations

You are so right about the eyes. I also find that I love the way my husband cares, not just about me, but everyone who is in his life.

it doesn't matter where you find love because love finds you. Not the other way around. whether it be on the computer or on the street or anywhere you meet, love makes it way in and Cupid aims and shoots and if it is true love the arrow will stick.

I met my husband at a local roller skating rink. He was too nervous to talk to me in person so he had his friend approch me and I told him to tell him to come over himself. We met when I was 14 and he was 17 and now we are married. I married him when I was 19 (almost 20) and now I am 22.

My husband and I met at work. In the summer of 2002 I worked at a resturant called Charlie's Chicken. I worked up front with costumers and he worked in the kitchen. At the time his sister also worked there. I thought he had a cute smile but he was 5 years older than me so I figured he wouldn't be interested and didn't pursue it. I started dating another guy that also worked there. I had been dating this guy for 6 weeks when I found out he cheated on me with my now husbands sister. She was my friend at the time and felt bad, so she thought she would make it up to me buy hooking me up with her brother. Turned out that he'd liked me since the first day we had meet. He spent the 6 weeks, I spent dating someone else, talking non-stop about me to his mom. We got married exactly 8 months after our first date and have now been married 5 years.

My husband kinda, well, uh, stalked me...lol...not really, but he did seek me out after someone told him that he should meet me. He is my prince charming and my life is now complete with him. We have our ups and downs, but it is all just making memories for us later in life. I love him with all my heart and then some :)

I met my hubby on a blind date. I was set up by a friend and I didn't want to go. lol I was threatened that if I was not ready, I was being dragged out of my house, even if I was in my PJ's, so I had no choice.
Prior to the date, we talked on the phone, and one of our conversations was 3 hours and he hates to talk on the phone. lol
I am very glad I went, I have been with him for 25 years, we have a wonderful daughter and a beautiful life together. He treats me like a queen sometimes. I don't expect it, but it sure is nice

I also met my husband at Wal-mart.
I started working there in April 1999. I worked the seafood counter and he worked in produce (which were right next to each other in our store).
We were kind of friends and then our other friend found out I kind of had a crush on him so he set us up by dragging my husband over to my apartment one night. The three of us talked for awhile then our friend had to leave. Me and my husband stayed up all night just talking. That was June 4, 1999. The next day we went to work then he came back to my place, we ordered pizza, watched a movie and he asked me to marry him. Just like that. We never dated and only knew each other about 6 weeks total and we were engaged, lol.
We were married in January 2000 (almost 7 months to the day that he proposed). I was 3 months pregnant at our wedding. Our oldest daughter was born that June. We have been together almost 9 years now, married for almost 8 1/2 and have 4 children. We've had our ups and downs (were separated for 6 weeks over the summer) but things are looking good now. So marriages can last based on crazy beginnings. I'm pretty sure my parents thought I was nuts and that it wouldn't last more then a year...we showed them.

nothing like love at first site.that is how I felt when i met my wife I knew right then and there she was someone i knew i had to get to know. And we are still finding new thins out together about each other. Just because you don't know everything about that person before you marry them don't mean you cant find out as you grow together. and you will find out more and more as you do.

The first wife at a school introduced by my mother.
The second one at the LRT station after meeting on the net.
The 3rd one.. not yet or they may not be one.
More details if needed.

it is a long story but i will try to make it short.
Last may 2002 , the company were i worked for joined an exhibit. I was in our booth making the last preparation for my presentation when i saw a figure of a man passed by my way. I looked up and saw the back of a tall long haired man, which brought a smile on my face --for i like men with long and curly hair... ---still staring at this figure, i was suddenly startled when he made a 180 degrees turn and meeting my gaze. A little ashame of myself caught "red handed" i tried to save my face by snobbing him and pretend to concentrate back on my work.
A few minutes after, a trainee came to me asking for me to take over and entertain a "hard to pleased" client. to my surprised, the said client happened to be the tall guy with a curly long hair !
The conversation went smoothly more than i expected, during the "inquiring" he did , I learned that he was sent by his company to look for some new business partners and would only be in the country for three days. We exchanged business card and said goodbye politely. As he turned around , i felt sad knowing that he was a "foreigner" and i will never have to see him again.
I was sent by my boss to the lounge to take a break and review my powerpoint and just wait for my time to present . My mind was not in what i was reading and i felt a little disturbed, i "felt" that there were eyes staring at me , so i started looking around. And on the third table on my right , there is the long haired guy again, staring at me with a smile on his face. He stood up, went to my table and took the seat beside me. He started talking to me about my presentation which was about to start in half an hour .. I dont know why i had panicked and i told him that i would appreciate if he is not going to watch my presentation. Smiling naughtily he said , " well okay, i will not watch your presentation , if and when you say yes for dinner tonight ". I was running out of options so i said "Well i do have some prior engagements later but if you want then we can have dinner tomorow night instead " i stood up , faced him and said " keep your word and i will keep mine " then i headed to the presentation room.
I really had "prior engaement" after work and that was suppose to be dating my male bestfriend. But then my boss sent me somewhere else . I was asked to represent our company in the cocktail party hosted by the exhibitors. So instead of having a candle light dinner, i was stucked in a hotel function room with drunken middle age men.. Feeling a little low, i decided to head towards the hotel longue to have some peace and quiet time. and the last person i was expecting to come out of the elevator which was right infront of where i decided to stay was the tall long haired guy i met that day !
i could write a whole book about our love story but i am not going to bore you with that...so to make it a little more fast tracked....
we had dinner the next day and spend talking at the hotel longue until 4 am , went home to take a shower and changed clothes met him at 11 for brunch and drove him to the airport at 3pm.
I week after he had a 4 hours stop over and met at the airport just to have dinner. We were calling and writing each other everyday and the next time we say each other was 2 years and 3 months after. I flew to Germany on end july of 2004, got married on December of the same year, pregnant on feb 2005, bought a house on june and gave birth to our daughter who is now 2 years and a half... and the story goes on and on and on and on ....
looking back on how we met and our lovve story, it was fun and will always give us a good feeling and a smale on our faces...
sorry if i had bored you with my story
P.S. this is the short version already lol

this reminds me of a story that i could tell you but it would very long as well so i will just say that something like that happened to me once we didn't get married but we did become great friends. every time we turned around we kept seeing each other i don't care if it was in another state we would run into each other out of the blue. So we decided to become friends.I would have married her but she passed away before i could se her again to let her know how much i thought about her and how we kept meeting.we did spend some great time together for a while.

I met my husband where he works, he works at an auto shop. My mother and I took her car in one day to get new tires put on it. I also had a good friend of mine that worked there, we went in and my friend came out and talked to us for a little bit, and I kept noticing this guy coming into the office, he wouldn't say anything he was just standing behind the counter and kept eyeing me. I didn't think too much of it then. Later, my friend was telling me that the guy started asking questions about me. He asked who I was, and how did my friend know me, how old I was, if I was married, had kids, ever been married. He said he told him no, to all questions. He couldn't believe it. Later, my friend was telling me that the guy was wanting my phone number, and wanted him to ask me if he could call me sometime. I kept saying I don't know, maybe. Then I finally agreed. Well two months went by and I never heard from him, so I thought well guess he didn't wanna call me. It turns out, my friend forgot to tell him that he had the green light. He said he got mad at him. So he finally called me, and explained what happened. Long story short we got married about 5 mos. later. We've been married for 5 yrs now, and its been good.

I met my husband in 'St Lukes hospital . we were both working there. I was a nurse's aid and he was our orderly. We actually met over a surgical bed . He was berating me for the way I was making the bed and we had a friendly argument over it. From then of it sortof escalated and six weekslater we were married. we used to laugh over how the first time we met we argued over making a bed.lol.

I actually met my fiance online. He was looking for friends in the area and found my page and was interested in what I had to say. We talked for about two weeks and decided to met, but set a date for a month later. After a few more days of talking we moved the date up and have been in love ever since.

isn't love grand i believe that internet dating or any other kind of dating can be a good thing but also a bad thing. meeting without actually seeing each other in person gives a chance to know each other without judging face or body. Just words and thoughts to go by gives you a chance to know the inner person before the outer appearance
