Coffee beans or instant coffee?

We have visitors that prefer instant coffee and that is what my husband and I will have to drink in the morning. It's better than nothing I guess. I definitely can taste the sourness in the Maxwell House instant and that leaves a really bad after taste. Throughout the day, I drink 3-4 cups of coffee, but this morning I had only one cup of instant and didn't make anymore. I did feel a jolt, but it didn't last long. I haven't felt the affects of caffeine in a long time, and the feeling I got this morning made me feel almost jittery. I wonder if instant is stronger? It possibly could be.

Ihave wondered about instant coffee being stronger.I like some instant brands.try this the next time you have a cup of instant coffee. When you start pouring the hot water in,pull back on the pot so the coffee foam`s alittle.it makes a different taste, anyway to me it seems different. But I usally drink reg. coffee anyway.

I have never liked instant. It always has to be fresh coffee beans.
