How can i improve my speaking english?

Your English is not bad. If you want to be good in English you have to learn and speaking English not only in your home but also when talking to friends.. Read a lot of books ans watch english movies more often... and if theres a word that you dont understand have a dictionary with you.Goodluck+

Sounds like if you can write in English then you already know the grammar & vocabulary and it's just a case of practicing. Have you considered watching Amercian & British films as a way of familiarising yourself with the spoken language? Many of my friends have learnt English from films as they are all subtitled so it is easy to compare the spoken with the written. Don't feel a failure because you struggled with a telephone conversation. It is always hardest to understand on the telephone as you have no visual signals to work with.

you can learn a language in many different ways. one way is to watch english movies. when i was a little kid, i used to watch english movies all the time. you can learn a lot of things by watching english movies. you can learn how people in the movies say words in english. you can learn how to listen to words that are hard to spell and understand. if you find or hear a word in enlish that you don't understand, you should have an english dictionary by your side so that you can look it up whenever you feel like it. it's always very important to have a dictionary with you all the time specially when you're learning a new language. another way to improve your english is to practice talking to yourself or practice making speeches like you are in front of many people. this will really help you with public speaking or just speaking to anyone in english. the third advice that i could give you is to read english books. in books, you will discover a lot of words and you can also discover stories, customs, traditions of many people who speak english.

Hi recklessfire!! that's ok if you're still afraid of talking to foreigners because of your poor English.. I'm not an American but I could speak and understand well their language..It's not just because here in our country, English has been our second language..even in the education system it's mainly part of it that's why children are most likely to learn the language until they have grown up.. You must try practicing it often, learn even 2 or 3 words a day and putting them on a sentence can help you widen your English vocabulary.. Read articles, books that are written in English and if you can't understand some of the terms you can always refer to WEBSTER Dictionary or any Online dictionaries.. Watch English movies so you would know how they converse in in this language and it's a good way of imitating them.. You can also hire an English tutor if you really want to learn the language fast..] hope it helps!!! good luck!!

Try to read lot of Novels ..Keep speaking infront of the mirror where you will not have any kind of fear when your talking to others

In order to improve your english , you must speak more and write more english yea , find yourself a english teacher to correct your english yea.

I dont think that your english is that bad. You should improve only you grammer little bit. If you can write in english than there is no reason why you cannot speak in english. if do not try to speak in english you will never learn to speak in english. Nobody will make fun or laugh at you if you make mistakes. You may make mistakes in the beginning but than you will be able to spek in english fluenty. you should try to do reading in english. you can read newspapers and novels.

Reading your post one can say that you can improve your English very fast.Many people in my region join so called "English Speaking Tuitions" or buy some books,I also gone through it but not much effective. To speak good English firstly you must have confidence.To gain confidence you must improve your vocabulary.To improve your vocabulary there are many ways such as reading books,news papers etc etc But personally I improved my English by reading story books which I like & watching English cartoons & movies again & again Hope it will help you

I would suggest you watch English movies every so often. Language is a learning more by listening than deconstructing grammatical construction. You have to play it by ear, that is how you're gonna learn fast. But of course, you should not quit your grammar studies. It is essential as well. Gaining confidence you need to practice much. The best thing to do is start blogging with the use of the English language then also converse with the use of this language everyday. In that way, you will be able to improve your oral and written English skills.

Keep trying!!! You must practice your English. You should also ask others to slow down and repeat themselves. Have you look into ESL classes? English as a Second Language? You can find these in community classes, school districts and colleges. Do Keep trying!

Dear don't think you are bad or you don't know english well. think is that you need to practice a lot, know meaning of words and their usage, try to read in front of mirror this will give you lots of confidence, record your speaking and listen your self.

When I was a kid I read a lot of Archie comic books. I loved it and it greatly helped improve my English. You might want to try it.

English isn't my mother language. I do believe that practice makes perfect. In fact even if you don't have a good spoken English, usually foreigners can understand you anyway. Don't be afraid, nobody will laugh at you. Most of all, relax and try to speak simple English at first. Don't think about the grammar mistakes as nobody will care about it. It's good enough that you can express what you want to say.

I would say that you right so well but this does not mean that your listening abilities are excellent. so my advise to you is improve your listening by watching movies. these movies are usually translated. try to listen first. then look to the translation line. by this way you can monitor your progress. good luck

being afraid of talking with foreigner .maybe you are living in other country instand of china.i dont think you english is poor .because you live in foreign country .i think there being a lot of chances for you to speak english.you can watch some engish movie and see some english books .play english computer games .scan some english website.i think there exist lots of other people facing the same prople with you .come on .you will success
