Your enslish make it sound harder for you but they way you express it in your explanation sound not so bad. I don't have any idea how to improve your English writing but speaking yes.
Go out there hang out with people who speak English a lot and i am sure you will improve. I was none English speaker and the word i know just Yes, No, i love you. My English speaking friends force me to speak, even i feel embarrass about it i was trying hard since they all forcing me to.
So here i am writing in English now. Not so bad i guess.
The key is in your mind stay confident and spit-out all the wrong words people will laugh and correct you. Like the Nike said "Just Do It". You will be fine

I am an American, but sometimes we don't always understand each other here, mostly due to different areas and dialects. And, of course, our english here is quite different from the British.
I remember when I was trying to learn German, but finally realized that I did better when I was around nothing but Germans(My wife was German). When I got back around my fellow Americans, I always had the tendency to speak English again. Force of habit, I guess.
I know it is not always possible to be around others speaking English or any other language, but keep trying. You will make it.

Technically, the big differences between english spoken in the US and the British English is the way some words are pronounced and some slang terms. Also, we Americans use a lot of words from other languages. I guess that is probably true of all languages.

From this discussion, i can see your english is good. don't worry. In order to improve english, you could spend more time to speaking and writing, for example, discussion at mylot.
P.S. a dictionary (book or internet) is important, you can look up a word at any moment.

Maybe you should read a lot. I mean reading English literature. Or perhaps having an English tutor. You can search the internet for some English tutorial (videos included). Joining forums and participating to discussion is also a big help.
