Do you think chocolate is no more than calories in it?Chocolate is a tasty sweet, most girls are crazy about chocolate, but worried about it's high calories.Actually if we can moderate our indulgence, chocolate can benefit our health in many ways.
The most common fact that we know about is that it contains antioxidants which keep us healthy by keeping the bad effects of aging away and also help keep cancer at bay.
Another good benefit is eating dark chocolate squares can bring about benefits with regard to blood pressure (hypertension) over the long term. Moreover, chocolate can actually reduce some kind of cholesterol which is the type of cholesterol that we do not want!
Most of us believe in the soothing power of chocolate,it is a good comfort concoction. Some people regard chocolate as a pick-me-up.When was the last time that you felt horrible and you had a bit of chocolate? Wasn’t it wonderful comfort ?
Anyway try not to over do it ,everything taken in excess will end up being bad for us.

I love chocolates, I am happy to eat chocolates and grateful to hear it is good for us. But would it be still good for those who have diabetes?

Ooh yes, I love chocolate too and come from a chocolate-loving family and my husband does too, so obviously our daughter also inherited the chocolate-loving genes!
Most people that I know like chocolate, and whenever I come across somebody who doesn't, it doesn't really make sense to me! I even know a child who doesn't like it (although he does like white chocolate which I think isn't really the same!), and that really shocked me (ok, so maybe I need to be more open-minded and less judgemental about peoples' tastes?!)
I'm always glad to hear of the benefits of chocolate as that makes me feel even better about eating it, but I'm sure I would eat it anyway and probably in just the same quantities!

I think it can be in moderation, anyway I would like to think so, I think I would still eat it even if it was bad for you and even illegal...

The more cocoa solids the better in chocolate. It has iron and antioxidants which is great. The problem is processing cocoa into chocolate often lowers the health benefits, and recent research shows milk may interfere with the bodys ability to absorb the nutritional benefits of chocolate. Chocolate has more antioxidants than green tea, though you have to remember that chocolates are far higher in fat and sugars. Eat moderately and it can be a positive addition to your diet.
