Here is a question for all of you who have worked in the hospitality industry - what is the most annoying thing a customer has ever done?
For me it was walking into the restaurant just after I finished clearing all but one table after the rush and going directly to sit at the one dirty table in the restaurant!

True stories of annoying people at the drive-thru at Wendy's:
"Can I get a junior bacon cheese burger with no bacon and no beef, plain?"
Me: "You mean, just the cheese?"
"Yes, and can you put it on the grill and melt the cheese?"
"Can I get a triple cheeseburger with everything, cut in half, with a DIET coke?"
"Can I get (whatever crap they ordered) and you with a side of fries?"
"Can you wear my frosty?"
"Do y'all have fresh McNuggets?"
Me: "Sir, this is not McDonald's."
"And can I get a vanilla shake and fish sandwich?"
Annoying customers at the shoe store:
"Can I get your employee discount?"
"I'll pay you $20 to turn around while I walk out with this."
(after looking at the 500 signs I personally put up around the store.)
"What do you mean I can't get the sale shoes half off? The sign says BOGO."
"I'm going to tell your manager." (After I told this person for the third time that they could NOT pay for the $40 shoes and get the $200 Jordans half price.)
Most annoying: customers who touch your butt or say inappropriate things because they know you can't cuss them out or hit them. Screw retail and restaurant jobs!

That is one I always used to wonder about as well, and then those same people are the ones who will try and make a Big scene that they had to sit at a dirty table and why won't you come and clean it off? When I worked for Burger King it seemed like anytime I was out there trying to clear off the tables, etc. there would be someone like this even if most of the other tables were clean and it made you wonder what is up with some people. Wish there was such a thing as INSTALL BRAINS for some of these people for sure.
