gf/bf tells you hates you on your face or he/she cheats on you behind your back?

I would rather he wouldnt cheat behind my back if he is that miserable then he needs to tell me first and let me go. Then he can go do whatever he has to do. Telling someone upfront before you cheat is the right way. let that person go first then be able to do what u want.That gives u a chance to find yourself and find someone who really appreciates you for you and respects you enough to be yours only.

Of course it hurts but you know you cant make someone love you and if they say they hate you in your face what can you do about it? I have never had anyone say they hate me to my face and i am sure it would hurt but do u want to be with someone that hates u that much and doenst respect you? I'm sure that you can move past this and will forget about it when u do somthing about it. find someone to share your life with and trust me it will fade away. I have had someone leave me but it hurt like heck he might as well said he hated me to my face it couldnt of hurt any more.

If either were to happen, for me it would be the end of the relationship.
Of course, I would prefer to be told upfront that he no longer wanted to be with me, rather than being cheated on. However, I do think it would be extremely unlikely to have someone turn around and say that they 'hated' you after spending time in a relationship.
Maybe they might say they no longer love you, but hate seems a little extreme, unless you have done something really awful to them.

i could never take the cheating behind my back. though it hurts i rather hear him tell me on my face that he hates me. but cheating behind my back would really break my heart as it would be breach of. my traust

I do not want no one to go behind my back.I want my partner to be hoenst with me about his feelings.I just don't understand how you could say you love someone then go and cheat on them or do other things to cause mistrust behind their back.i am alwayshoenst and up front.

Hah! I had this boyfriend waayyy back in college, we dated for 6 months (i think)..., Things were not that good but not that bad either.., but one night, he called and broke up with me... Guess what? He cheated and admitted it to me... It really hurts but you know what... what he did is good because I don't have to really investigate or think of the real reason why he wanted out... so I guess my answer is "Id prefer if he tells me that he hates/cheated on me" than lying again.

Well, i think telling me they hate me would hurt, but being cheated on hurts worse. i would rather hear the truth, that things are bad and they don't want to be together then to find out that all along they were doing stuff behind my back. once someone cheats on you, it makes it really hard to trust anyone else.
