Did you ever fall in love with a character in the book you're reading?

If yes, who's that character and from what book? I think Edward Cullen from Stephenie Meyer's book "Twilight" has managed to take my breath away. And Mr. Darcy from "Pride and Prejudice" will also do!

Edward Cullen is so easy to fall in love with. I fell in love with him the minute he was introduced. I love the bad boy image and being a vampire just adds to it. Love him to pieces.

I am guilty for falling in love with Edward Cullen. Just to imagine what being with someone that perfect..

Nick Andros from The Stand. It's the only Stephen King book (other than his autobiography/writing manual) that I've been able to read, but Nick is a great character. It's been awhile since I've read it, so I can't recall the exact things I loved about him.

When I was 14 or 15,I was pretty much in love with Zacharias Glass from Salinger's "Franny and Zooey". And Thomas Becket (not the real, historical Saint Thomas Becket, Archbishop of Canterbury but the one from Anouilh's "Becket or The Honour of God") "did take my breath away" as you said LOL! Now, more than 30 years later, I guess I hardly could stand Anouilh's Becket when I'd really could meet him but I still wouldn't have anything against having a chat with this nice young man Zooey:-)

I read Hamlet in college in my teens and ended up with a huge crush on him. I still think he's wonderful. I must be a glutton for punishment going for an indecisive, obsessive loon like that!
