you favorite healthy snack?

In my quest to get back on track with healthy eating, I would like to hear what your favorite healthy snack is. Ideally this would be something that is portable, or at least something that I can bring to work easily. I must stay away from the vending machine! Even the "healthy snacks" in there are loaded with sugar!

I carry granola bars with me. I buy the ones that are low in sugar and high in protein and fiber.
I also eat almonds (they're good for your brain) and dried apricots.
All of these snacks are easy to carry to work.

My favorite snacking foods are fruits like oranges, or apples, pears or strawberries that I have dehydrated in my dehydrator.
But also, carrots are good, dehydrated banana chips taste great and nuts of any kind! (Good for the fiber and protein.)
Instead of 3 big meals..better to pay attemntion to when you are really hungry and not bored, etc..and eat six times a day..but small amounts. Exercise and drink lots of water and..thet IS healthy!

I have been good about excerising actually. But I know the better fuel I put in me, the better my excerising will go.
Now that the warm weather is here I'm looking froward to more fruit. I love mangos.

my favourite snack is biscuits with a cup of tea. Like to keep it simple

My healty snack would be a vegetable salad
with vinaigrette. I would never want to use
salad creams or mayonaise as they could be
containing too much calories.
I prefer corn kernels, carrots, green peas
and maybe lettuce and some healthy tuna
packed in a small container to be my snack.
Otherwise, a bar of weetbix would be an
ideal one too.

Quakers chewy bars are really good and only have between 90-100 cals. yogurt is good and you can find a lot of them that only have 100 or less cals. I ate Yoplait Yogurt light and it's really good.
Umm.. they have 100 calorie packs in different flavors
i haven't tried them yet but i plan too.
and fruit is always healthy

ill eat baby carrots or regular carrots sometimes tomatos or a nice salad, i would consider a Nutrigrain Bar a healthy snack but someone pointed out to me that their not as good as they say they are , what a bummer cause ive been eatting those for years

I try to pack healthy snacks too. My favorites are sliced cucumbers, baby carrots (I buy the small packs that include low-fat ranch dressing for dipping, very convenient).
I also buy those 100 calorie packs of wheat thins, or I'll even treat myself to the chocolate chip ones.
Fruit is always easy to take with you so I always make sure I pack an apple or orange to take with me too.
