Women and Friends

I was just wondering what women out there did with their friends? All of my friends enjoy anime and video games - both of which I hate. I get stuck watching these things for hours or getting online while they play games and I just get bored with it. Is there something we could do together that might be fun? I am more of a girly girl and like shopping and makeup and I guess it's true when they say "opposites attract" and I just don't know what to do! Help?

Have you ever asked them to go shopping or out to a movie and go out to eat? I mean u do what they want all the time it is your turn to do somthing you want to do. If they dont like that then maybe you should find other friends that like things you like and enjoy some time away from your friends. Dont let them hold you back from what you like to do i am sure there is someone out there that you are friends with that sits home and does nothing while you are being bored with the others. Try that out see if they will do somethng once in awhile u want to do if not then i am sure you can find someone else to hang out with. Good luck.

I live in a small town far away from a lot of things, and they go to the mall with me on ocassion but they hate anything that could be considered a "prep" store. They only go to places like GameStop, Hot Topic, Borders... and when I go into some place liek American Eagle they stand by the front door and sigh and say they are traitors for even stepping in the store.
It's not easy to get new friends around here, when your town is only 2,000 people and most of those are over the age of 40.
