I'm about to start on an early morning shift in my job and will have to wake up at 3am on weekdays (which I'm really bummed out about btw)... and I'm wondering what sort of foods/drinks I should be having that would help me sleep and get a good rest? Any tips would be appreciated! :)

Any food containing tryptophan will help you get a better nights rest and perhaps help yopu fall asleep faster. Some fo these foods included, Dairy products (milk, cheese) Soy products (tofu, soybean nuts) seafood, meats, poultry, beans, whole grains, rice, hummus. ON askDrSears.com there is a very good article about that. It even has the best before bedtime snacks and best "help you sleep" dinners. Also th article continues on to tell you what foods are best to help wake you up and why! Good luck my friend with your new job!
