If you are smoker, can you quit?

To be honest with you to quit smoking is hard to do. My doctor told me about this one product to quit with but i am not sure i want to do tht right now. Smoking for me keeps me busy with my hands and i use it as a crutch and i know if anyone in the world really wanted to quit it would have to be somthing they feel in their heart to do. It is tuff one i know for sure. I keep telling myself i will quit after one more month but i keep holding on and smoking but i know someday i will just up and quit when i am ready. My son did, he just quit cold turkey he says he eats more now. It is up to each individual of if they really want to i guess.
