Everytime I go into the supermarket some items has gone up not just a few cent either I'm talking about 15-25 cent,I get sticker shock most of the time I visit my supermarket. And the corner stores I just ignore them their prices are just out of this world. We've in a recession but no one in washington wants to say so.

I live in Trinidad, in the Caribbean and here we're having such increases in food prices its incredible ! Most people believe the Prime Minister is a fool. He just doesn't offer anything positive to the people - he just plays politics. Its glum for all the world. People are lining up for rice in the Phillipines. Basmatti rice increased by 50 percent in price recently here in Trinidad. I discovered on Sunday last there's a shortage of tomato ketchup in the country. I guess that's because of tomatoes. I can say pray but so few people believe in God these days all you can do is say something blah about the economy.

I think the economy is in big trouble. The price of gas and groceries has gone up so much some people can't afford to buy them anymore and they say it is only going to get worse. I know the stimulous payment is suppose to help out but that money won't last long with the way things are going.
