I think a lot of the "classic" films are overrated. Like "Gone With the Wind" and "Casablanca." I've watched them on several occassions (I just barely made it through "GWTW"), and each time I'm just like, "Yeah, so?" I don't get it, but they're supposed to be a really big deal.

There are way too many to name, however right now I would say the whole Judd Apatow involved comedy phase going on is a bunch of overrated crap. Knocked Up and Superbad were both really boring.

Despite my intense dislike of Humphrey Bogart, I watched Casablanca, because it's been called one of the most romantic movies ever, and I like Ingrid Bergman. I really tried to be fair to the movie, but I think it's overrated. I don't think my opinion of Bogart colored my view, because I've managed to enjoy other movies he's been in (The African Queen, Dark Victory). But, I've seen better movies with Bergman (Notorious comes to mind) and definitely more romantic movies over all.
I'd love to nominate Citizen Kane, but it wouldn't be fair, because I've never seen it.

Sweeny Todd.-There was TOO much music to enjoy the story line and I was bored with it by the time 10 minutes was over. I tried to watch it, as it had recieved great reviews.
I love Jonny Depp. The costumes were great. The music was fine..but there was TOO MUCH of it and not enugh regular talking for me to follow the story line and enjoy the movie.
It isn't a movie I would suggest, sadly.
