have you ever realized that more students are being put in to home schooling i mean whats up with that why can people just send there kids to regulare school it helps with a lot of things that are in the buisness world today like turning in assignments on time and waking up on time its just easier than home schooling.

i myself am a homeschooler..i think u take in more or learn more when at home..i think this because ur not surronded by associates who are going to distract and u can take your time learning a subjct properly..that is then rushing to finish it..plus if u have a job or even going outside u get enough interaction with others then.. but thats just my opinion!!

Well, both my daughters went to public school, however, if I had had the choice I would have home-schooled them. Have you not seen the news lately, there is always something happening at a school, university, college. Don't kid yourself, home schooling is not a easier way out, it is monitored by the state board of education, you have a curriculum to follow, deadlines and due dates.

Maybe some people had a horrible time at school and don't want to put their kids through the same thing. That and schools aren't really equipped to deal with above or below average intelligence students. the below average one's wind up in those 'special classes' with the mentally handicapped and do next to nothing all day and if you're above average you either sit around being bored ninety percent of the time... Or they put you in those 'special classes' so you can go at your own pace.

I know some people claim that pulling their kids out of regular school is making it safer for their children, but I don't think so, personally. Yeah, sure. Your kids aren't going to school with these kids, but they'll be forced to be with them in college, they'll be forced to interact with unsavory people at jobs and in the real world.
You can't shield them forever, the longer you try the harder it will be for them to adjust when they get older.

Well, I send my kids to regular school. However, if I was able to be a stay at home mom, I would homeschool. The schools are just too dangerous these days and seem to be getting worse as time goes on. In a town near me, third graders were just arrested for plotting to kill their teacher--THIRD GRADERS--OMG!!! It is a terrible world we are living in now. I pray God has mercy on each and everyone of us.
