How do you cheer yourself up when you are feeling down?

Im feeling really down today and just cant seem to cheer myself up at all. How do you cheer yourself up when you are feeling down, how do you 'pull yourself out of it' so to speak

i always put on happy sing a long type of music and dance around to it like nobodys watchin!

Well I know that I am down and find out exactly what it is that is bothering me and then I decide if it is worth me staying down or ask myself is there something I can do about the problem if there is nothing I can do about the problem I let it go and start to think of the positive things that I do have and be thankful and happy that I am able to sit here and chat on line, for there are those out around us that do not have that positive energy in there lives and not have a computer. So in one line if you can't fix it at this moment then let it go and move forward to the things that can make you happy.

the most important thing to do is getting back my mood. my possitive mood what i mean in here. usually i will listen lots of songs. my fave songs to build possitive mood in my self. i prefer to listen it with ear phone cause it will directly heard by my ear without any other voice arround. i need to alone on that time. by this condition, i will get my possitive mood soon as possible and after i get my possitive mood, i will able to think logically and seeing that whats happened with myself is just not too bad in my thought before. well, i am not sure that it will work with you but for me it always work and i am glad to have this way

Hai graceandowen,When i feel very sad then i will pray to god.Then i will get relief and with in some minutes i will be happy.But the sadness is not a problem for me now.Really i think i can enjoy the sadness also.Thanks

Hi there. First, why are you feeling so down today? Is this one of the day that you are just feeling so low because you have nothing to do? Well, that happens to me as well especially when I have no one to talk to. lolz. As for me, I usually try things t hat I haven't done for a long time that I miss so much like going to the bookstore and pick up something for myself to read... Haven't done that for a long time since I have been very busy these past few months. Usually, I go to massage parlor or go out with my friends to have a chitchat.. you know.. to just talk and talk.. It really helps. If I just want to be alone and feeling so down, I usually watch my favorite movies or series, listen to music or EAT! :) It makes me feel better. That is what I usually do.
