Good People v Bad People

It feels like the world is full of badness these days with people becoming worse by the minute! You can't pick up a newspaper or turn on the tv without reading about someone doing something unspeakable to someone else. But people do continue to be kind to one another - it just doesn't make good copy in the media so they rarely report it. Can you tell me of a kindness that someone has done you or you've heard happened to someone else? I'll start the ball rolling. I belong to a private forum where we pay £36 ($75) a year to receive a magazine and to read and post on the forum. Unfortunately, I could not afford my subscription this year (I've been a member for 5 years) so I had to say goodbye.... only to find that another member who wished to remain anonymous, paid my subscription to the forum so that I could stay. The gesture touched me so much and restored me faith in human nature.
