Connecting with your sister.

I have a sister who has made a few bad mistakes in her life that i have commented on. Since i moved out of my mothers house we haven't really talked and when she does talk to me its because she needs something. I have lent her money and took her on a vacation and i have not seen a cent back and when i bring it up she blows me off and doesn't call me back. Any of you have situations like this and what do you do about it? I can only try to be a person's friend so much that right now it doesn't even seem worth it

I run into problems similar to that with my sister too. Thats ok though. Shes your sister and you will always be there for eachother. Is it that she can't afford to do these things for you at this time? I loan my sister money when she needs it and she loans it to me too. Its a give give situation. Is she younger than you? Maybe she just needs some growing up to do. But don't cut her off entirely it is worth it. It just doesn't seem that way right now. Hang in there BECAUSE she is your sister. Just don't lend her money but always lend her you shoulder.
