I believe everyone of us has an image of God, believer or not, in one way or another..God as in the Creator in the Holy Trinity, I always think of Him in this Zeus-like image..a big, old white man with a long beard...
so, what's your mental image of God?

God will appear in different forms according to our expectation. If you expect He is like Zeus, He will be. I just believe God is formless. He is not "someone" or "something".

Hmmm... which God? *grins*
I have different images of every God I follow. I suppose the closest to the type of image you are talking about would be my image of Dagda, sort of the grand old man image. The most fun of my God images would probably be my image of Taliesin, though, because my image of him is a dark-haired grinning rogue.
If you're talking the Judeo-Christian God, I don't have much of an image of him. If anything, I would see him as an old man with a stern face, and a foreboding expression. Then again, my image of him is largely formed based off the horrors of the old testament, and things most of the Christians I know say.

First of all, it's really interesting to know that there are many "gods" that you follow. I think you're the first person so far that I have encountered who is a follower of many gods.. Just an additional FYI, it's the Judeo-Christian God that I'm referring to as the Zeus-a-like. I haven't finished reading the Old Testament but so far i don't think there are any horrifying stuff there. Could you specifically tell me what you're talking about? thanks :)

I picture the Lord as a great shining light with a booming voice like a million thunder. You can't see His face but you can feel His love and mercy.
