Do You Believe?

As some of you know, I have had a difficult time in the last 5 years just to find that I was misdiagnosed and still don't know what is wrong with me. I have a dr. appt on April 28th. I know things will be as they are suppose to be. I believe that when you see someone who looks like or has simularities to someone you loved that passed on to the other side, that it means something good will happen. I had an ex-boyfriend, I always knew when I was going to see him. One did I had that feeling and I never seen him and wondered why, I found out he passed away (his wife killed him) that was 17 yrs ago. He use to always tell me don't worry, everything will be OK. Well, whenever I am waiting on news or something, I see him, a simularity or just something that will remind me of him........now it is happening with my Aunt also. She passed on in 2005 and the other day on the way to the disibility dr, I was nervous and worried, after I saw her, I wasn't worried anymore and I got good news (in a way) misdiagnosed. So my question is does anything like that happen to you? Do you believe your loved one's still present themselves to you to let you know all will be OK? ~Icy~

I do not have what you have experienced but I do have some friends who do. I think this is a natural reaction especially if your relationship with the deceased had been a close and/or intimate one. Just don't feel awkward or being the odd one out. You are just more sensitive than the norm and majority. It also tells that you are a very attached individual. In the mythical terminology, your love ones are watching over you.

I don't feel awkward or like the odd man out. I know it is something special to have. I look at it like a special gift when that happens. Like I said I get more relaxed, because I know things will be ok. Thanks for the reply ~Icy~

Wow Icy, I'm sorry to hear about your troubles over the last 5 years, I hope that they will be able to diagnose you properly this time. So my thoughts are with you for your dr's appt on 28th. I haven't personally had anything like that happen to me but my Aunt does, regularly. And when I have been in difficulties she has been on to my mother just to ask if I am OK etc., and then she rings me to check up on me. And sometimes that has really helped me. I am sensitive to some things and get feelings too but I don't 'see' anyone as such. That must be such a comfort for you. I know some people wouldn't think so. I believe that the spirits of our loved ones who have passed on are around us and I talk to them all the time. Sometimes I have asked them for help too and generally I get it. Thanks for sharing this with us icy.
