Have you ever worked in a NGO?

I've ever worked for INGO name Mercy Corps. and it was cool. but guys do you think when you work for non profit organization than you become a better person? I didn't feel that way. that's way i moved to ordinary company

What did you do for Mercy Corps? I donate to them through my mutual fund.

you do? wow i met one of my donor. I was in finance actually. so i didn't involved directly to programs. btw it was MErcy Corps Indonesia. Nice to know you may i call you Rose?

Everyone else winds up doing it, so feel free. So, you just made sure the money people donated made to the right places? That is very important.

Yes i did. actually there were stages in controlling the fund goes to the right hand. i was kind of the last stage in controlling system. I made quarterly report to headquarter. and did yearly audit to the field. Indeed it's nice to know you rose.

wow... mercy corps is such a big INGO. hmm... if i may to respond ur question, i think we become a better person or not is depend to ourself. everywhere we work, it doesn't matter as long as we can put ourself in the right way... and the most important is we enjoy it... doing something that we like. i have not work in NGO yet, but i ever become a volunter for several times in some NGO.... and i'm doing it because i like it.... it was fuuun :) nice to share with u :)
