What's wrong with this Window Vista???

I'm a new user of Window Vista Home Premium. I had been listening to all my friends and relatives saying that the Window Vista is much worst than the Window XP. Window XP is the best.
I didn't realize it until I actually used them. Well, it was damn slow!!! Much slower than my brother's MacBook. When I'm using the Vista, it's like the worst nightmare I ever had, the system was so slow that my Guitar Hero 3 kept getting stuck in the middle of the gameplay.
Do you also have the same kind of problem as I have, encoutering problem with Vista???

With windows(on my PC) I can go one or two weeks with no problems but with vista(on my laptop) I had problem after 3 days from first opening the computer. Vista is slower, uncomfortable, annoying, complex beyond the need, isn't fit for someone new with computers(unlike XP) and doesn't look very good in addition. Altough XP sucks too, it sucks less, Vista is an excuse to release a new windows and charge more money for it.

The speed is due to the fact that Windows Vista requires a lot of system resources to run, so unless you have about 2 Gb of RAM and a very fast processor then it will definitely run slowly. Windows XP requires a lot less system resources and can run comfortable o an older computer.

I got this computer with vista installed I have to say that it is great but that is probably because it is a new high end computer anyways. I also heard that there was a huge difference between the 64 bit and 32 bit versions, but I don't know much about it.
