how to download from ftp server?

i want to download orbit viewer software from the net which is uploaded in ftp server. but i'm unable to access the ftp server from my workplace. how can i by-pass my server to download the software from ftp server?

you can use ftp software to download from the ftp software. you can use cuteftp. try to visit www.cuteftp.com.

Try FlashGet it has simple interface, support http, ftp even torrent, downloads can be resumed if the source support it and best of all its free. If you really want to take ftp seriously then search FileZilla - its open source and free.

did you behind proxy server? try to set your connection over proxy.... if you use orbit downloader just go to preference an set proxy setting acording your network configuration... CMIWW
