I was happy to first log in at myLot today and got a good discussion for the community. When I finished posting my topic, I was so surprised to see my star rating to go down from 100 to 69%. It really surprised me as I had a consistent 10 star rating over more than 3 weeks now and started with a rating of 7.
Well, I said to myself, if somebody have rated me negative while I was gone, I would not let that keep me from stayign away from myLot. I have been so busy these days with writing projects, and just get to go to myLot in between breaks and still try to participate well. But if somebody feels that way, well, its their problem and not mine-- is all I can say. I will work again to make that 10 rating mark!

its not only you. i got my reputation reduced from monday. not only that, i am down at most of the interest ratings. i also thought some rated me negative, but i hear many are going through this. can this be something that its again a mylot adjustment?

As I see from the discussions these past few days, a lot have been complains about what has been happening here in myLot. If that is the case, then I hope my ratings to be back but I dont much give attention to the rating but good to have a good ratings isnt it? Thats what reputation rating is for ryt? Thanks!

Near payday they do an adjustment of deleted discussions etc. So that may be the reason as well. negative ratings stink. I've had a few friends ratings and points drop a lot. One went from a 9 to a 4 losing 50 points. One lost nearly 100 points also.

Hello dear gabrielle. I am so sorry that your star rating has dropped from 100% to 69%. But I am glad that you won't get affected by it. Instead you have decided to go on doing your nice mylotting job, which is very good. It shows that you are mature enough not to be so easily get influenced by it. I hope that your hard work will soon enable you to get back to the previous star rating with luck, my dear friend. Good night.

Hi Maddy. A lot of people have been going crazy these days due to adjustments as they say here in mylot and a lot have been affected by it. Sad as it was, I was affected in 3 ways.

gabrielle welcome to the club been downrated, I was a ten then nine back to ten then nine and yesterday I went down to an 8 then a pukey white seven and a rating of 69. but I am going to get it back I will work again to get back my blue star. I am not quitting because someone's nose is out of joint.YOu cannot stop me either.

I know how you feel. When I first got my star, I had a 10. Well it went down after a week, and has been an 8 now for a month straight. I don't even care anymore, because I know I'm making a difference here. I get best responses all the time, and well, just because my star rating isn't a 10, doesn't mean that I'm a horrible mylotter. Good luck on getting back to a 10 rating, I'm going to give you a positive rating now, hope it helps!

Hi Jenni. I agree with you in saying that Its reputation alright but the more important thing here is enjoyment and making a difference and touching lives. The star rating is also saying that im a horrible mylotter and I know myself more than those star ratings. I know I have proven myself by reaching the 100% rating and staying over a long period of time.

Hmmm it happens cheer up. It is all mylot algorithm regarding interest rating. Well concerned to your star rating people might have rated negative on your discussion. Well cheer up it all depends upon how many quality replies and discussions you have made.

I am so glad that it hasn't gotten you down. Yes there are some real mean people who go around negatively rating people. I don't know what fun they get out of doing that. It is just not right.

There is no way that one person giving you a negative rating would put you down that low. You must have had a few deletions and maybe some abuse ratings. It doesn't go down by that much from just one bad rating. I have had problems with my ratings for the last few months and I just don't care about it anymore, since it really has nothing to do with our earnings or the amount of people responding to my discussions. I don't even look at what rating people have, it has no bearing on my responding or not. I don't even look at my own rating anymore.

i'm so sorry your rating has dropped. nice to know that it won't stop you. i have ever undergone that thing. my star dropped from 9 to 8. but that's because of my mistake. i accidentally posted the same response twice
