Do You Fall Asleep on a Car/ Bus Ride?

I don't sleep when I travel. Even if it is a long ride, I want to stay awake and be aware of where I am and the scenery I'm passign by. It's nice to look at those new things you know. Appreciate new stuff you happen to pass by.

I can never sleep in a car or a bus or even a train. Its not that i enjoy the scenery or travelling but i cant sleep at a place where i am uncomfortable. I cant sleep even if there is a slighetest noice or light. even if i try i cannot sleep in a bus. I wonder how people can slep so comfortably in a bus. With so many people in the bus its not just possible to sleep for me. If there is an overnight journey i remin awake till i reach the destination.

Yes I do.. recently. Nowadays I'm just so tired with only 5 hours of sleep everyday, and that I almost fall asleep everytime I'm on the bus. I'm too tired to enjoy what's around me.. sadly.

it depends on who is driving. I prefer not to fall asleep while driving, but that has happened a time or two. There are other people I get int he car with and just want to close my eyes because if I am going to die I would rather be thinking of something better than the her trying to beat the yellow light or how close we are traveling to the person in front of us.

No, I feel too sick, since I am travel sick and I don't want to fall asleep and throw up in my sleep. I also don't want to miss my stop on a bus or anything like that.

Yeah, I do fall asleep for sometimes during rides. But sometimes I don't and instead I am vomiting. You already know why, right?

Most of the times when i travel it will be night and i obviously would like to sleep. Even if thats a day time journey and if am bored i prefer sleeping rather than reading books or listening to music. If i am sitting beside the one who is driving the car then i will not sleep inorder not to distract the drivers attentions. If the journey is bouring and the one on the driver seet is my friend or relative i will start some conversation to make myself comfortable.

Oh heck yes! I like to see the scenery too ... but ... I have slept on car trips. I have slept on buses. I have slept on trains. I have slept on boats. I have slept on airplanes. I have even fallen asleep on the metro. What can I say ... I can (and have) slept almost anywhere!

i love being the passenger! hate to drive. haha. usually if i'm with my parents then i'll be sleeping away like a log at the back seat. but if i'm with friends i'll probably chat through out the journey, unless i'm really sleepy...or if they dont mind i definitely wanna go to sleep haha.

I used to sleep on the bus ride to school, although that was only about ten to fifteen minutes at the most. It wasn't a restful sleep though because of all the bumps and stuff we would hit(not a good driver.) It was more of a just close your eyes and then try to feel energized and ready.

I do enjoy bus rides alot, maybe due to i've been taking buses since young till now.. So taking buses is more or less an enjoyment for me regardless of the distance except for traffic jams.. LOL ^_^ My frenz always ask me y i dun like to take taxi instead, but i will always say them, taking buses is cheap and convenient too although the journey is long.. And on the bus, we get to see different kinds of ple and their character.. LOL ^_^ thus i always dun fall asleep on bus there are always interesting things happening on the buses ^_^

if i'm really tired i sometimes fall asleep lol but that happens rarely

I almost never fell asleep on the bus or in a car, I find it hard to go to sleep on the bus because I feel its small vibrations and I just can't fall because of that even if I go on a two hour bus ride.

Yes I do. On my route home, I often fall asleep, probably because the scene is familiar. In addition, the sounds in a bus make me fall asleep. The silence, the soft music, the murmurs. It's a nice experience.

The only time I fall asleep on a bus or car ride etc is if I'm going long distance....As much as I'd rather stay awake during a 13 hour bus trip..I get bored and just can't do it so I usually end up having a nap LOL...For short trips though I dont sleep..

that is the one thing i really can't do. i think i always seem to be alert when i am making journey by bus or car. i find it hard to fall asleep so easily.i enjoy the side seeing and also i am alert.

I fall asleep! I can't help it! I think it is the sound of the engine or something or just the heat. When I was a kid, I used to sleep soundly in the bus. Now that I am older, I sleep lesser, but I still sleep.

Hi, I also enjoy being a passenger to enjoy the scenery but I can't help falling asleep every ride I made. Even if it is a short ride (for about 30 minutes or less), my eyes always fell down to sleep. Maybe because I feel relax whenever I'm on a ride. :)

I go to work by regular bus every day.Most of the time in the morning ,I'll not have a nap,because the platform arrived there I living is the last one.So,I could get up later than others.But,when offing duty,I maybe snooze a little time after work a day time if I feel tired too much!Or,I'll sit on the seat looking out the window and listen to some songs!
