Corn Dogs

Hi there. I saw this post, and thought to myself, hey what are corn dogs. Are they corn on a cob or am I way off track here. Have a great day.

Here's one that's pretty good - the only one I've ever tried: 2/3 cup corn meal 1/2 cup flour 1 tsp salt 1/2 cup milk 1 egg, beaten 2 TBS oil 8 - 10 weiners flour Combine first dry ingredients, and combine egg, milk and oil separately then mix into dry ingredients. Insert skewer or stick into weiner, coat with flour and dip into the batter. Deep fry in hot oil until lightly browned. I save the wooden skewers from bought corn dogs and from popsicles to use.
