Have any of you moved to a place you never really been?
We have been having problems with finding a house in the current town we are in. I was contemplating moving out of this town but i've lived here my whole life and am a bit afraid of moving somewhere where i know no one. How do you guys manage?

It can be hard to move to a place you have never been, especially if you have lived in one place for your entire life. Think of it as a challenge! You get to move into a new place you get to decorate, find new and interesting things to do in your new city, meet new friends and neighbors. At first it will feel fustrating and difficult as you first meet people, but after awhile that feeling will go away. I have only made a few big moves in my life, but all the places were different and are special in their own way. Good luck making your decision.

I move every two years and to so many far off and remote places. I have found people are alwas friendly to new comers and best way is to seek help from locals for best places to shop and buy stuff. People over showing off their town and it takes only a couple of months to get used to the new place. Just treat it like an adventure and you will love it.

I was born and raised in London, and lived there for most of my adult life. Then, in 2001 I moved to Birmingham and bought a house there. It took my a little bit of time to become accustomed to a different city but now I feel perfectly at home.

I actually have a lot of experience with this. The family joke growing up was that we didn't have summer vacations, we have summer moves. Often these moves would be last minute. We would go, live in a hotel for a week or so until we found a house. My parents would then find jobs (I always thought this was a bit backward). It can be very stressful, but it can also be fun. You never know what you are missing until you venture out into the unknown.
