Would Life be better if everything was free?

honestly i dont think life would be interesting if everything would be free. We wouldnt have to work for what we do. All we would really do is sit and do nothing. At least now you work for money so you can have goals and everything to get what you want/ like or whatever! But if you had everything it would just be pointless to live really. there would be absolutly nothing to do. Our economy well there wouldnt be one. everyone would be rolling around in ashton martins and everything. If everything was free in life then to me there would be no life.

If everything was free, we would have no way to learn appreciation. Everything would be handed to us. I do not think it would be boring if everyone had the same things, because then there would be no status issue. The problem lies in the fact that there will always be people who are willing to make a buck off of others, instead of by helping each other. When a society works together, for itself, it can only prosper. People do not need to be taken advantage of, for success. Quite the contrary. When we work against our own people, in a sense, we're working against ourselves because we help lead to the detriment of our own society...

No, it wouldn't work it would only make people less creative and lazy.

definitely not,we are born with a purpose,and its to achieve greatness , people will become to complacent ,lazy, unambitious life would be to boring , it wouldn't be boring since people have the same thing, cause we live in a world where majority of people already share the same things, although there are benefits to every thing being free, this might solve poverty.find this is a good question it made me think

I dont know about boring but it wouldnt be a good place, you should work for things you want or need to have them just given to you teaches no morals nor does it build a strong character!

Kind of along the same line as free, but I had a friend who was very very rich! So it was like everything to him was free. No challenge in his life. He was one of the most miserable people I have ever known! In his life he had nothing to look forward to! With me I have to work hard to achieve something that I want! If everything were free I think society would be in a world of hurt as a whole! Our world thrives on competition!

interesting discussion, dear. in my opinion, it will depend on the people their selves how to manage this kind condition. cause we should realize that beyond any circumstances, human being always have desire and passion to get more from what they already have in their life. as long as they can't manage it very well then i am sure life won't be too much better although everything is going to be free. what do you think?

Well, that would be a drunkard's dream but it could really be cool. I would settle for not free but cheaper. Everything is too expensive these days and there are no indications that things will become better.

I don't think so.If everything was free,the human would have no fight to work better.And everyone would be lazy.So,it's a bad mind.

There would be no challenge, no excitement, no sense of accomplishment, no ambition, no goals in life all of which adds up to BOREDOM not because everyone would have the same things because if you have no goals, no ambition it wouldn't matter if you had the same things but since we are human beings equipped with brains, we would always want to question to look for something new, to accomplish something different. However, if everything is free, what's the use of striving for anything? So let's be grateful that not everything nin life is free.

I do not think this can be ture just like equel rights. People are strguling for this for thousands of years, but every person was born unequel. I think actually the unequealty push the world's development.Can you imagine if there is no tilt the river can flow?

if everything is for free. perhaps everything would be better. however we will lose the value of hardwork. the value of persistence, patience and motivation. we wouldn't be able to appreciate the essence of achieving something through our own efforts. the owning of things through our own sweat. it would also take away our pride as a individuals born to labor.

I think it would be better. We would have everything we need. Things we want. Nobody would steal because they would have their own things. Money is the root of all evil. We would not be bored because of everything we have. There wouldn't be jealousy because whatever your neighbor has if you want you can go get it. Not every body would have the same things because not everybody wants the same things.

It wouldn't be boring, you could have a lot of fun and all! You wouldn't need to be afraid of being robbed in the streets, because everything would be free! A perfect world, or something really close to that. People wouldn't have to rush to work, poluting the sky, because there would be no work! People would just help each other by volunteering. Everything would be just fine. No, life would not be boring without goals, because goals would still exist. You could try to learn how to play certain instruments, or learn how to sing, or how to dance... You could also try to conquer the heart of the girl you have been loving for such a long time!
