In just couple of days new landmark in Indian Cricket will be established. IPL - INDIAN PREMIER LEAGUE. I think IPL is just cashing in the Twenty20's thrill by adding bollywood to it. Lots of money's been on the line. But as of now IPL's future seems good.

I think IPL will be OK for cricket- it will raise more revenue than adding a few more pointless one-dayers. But I would be very sad to see any players banned for playing in the rival league - we want to see all the best players playing test cricket!

Hai, I fear IPL should not spoil the ethics of the true cricket. Thosedays whenever a batsman/bowler gets hundred/highest wickets, their bat, pad, glove, ball is auctioned. Now a days in modern cricket, the players themselves are auctioned by ambani & co. It is not IPL Cricket. It is IPL Cashricket. Anyway having come, let us welcome the series and wish it's every success with a alarming hope that it will be not end with fixing and will not spoil the true colours of the sporting event. gud luck
