The trouble with the internet is.........

thats funny because i watched a south park episode last night, and it was about how the internet stopped working except in certain parts of the country, and everyone was freaking out and couldnt get any information, the news station said they had no news because they didnt have the internet, lol. So everyone started migrating towards california where the internet was still working and they had internet camps and people were allowed only ten minutes of time. it was halliours, and in another 50 years i think that if the internet went out that it would be simallure to that episode and everyone will be freaking out b/c there is no internet. If the internet went down our business would be SOL b/c we order all our inventory online. I havent had internet problems though since i got a cable connection.

I revert back to an offline game instead. I still haven't been able to get Liesure suit larry off that cruise ship safely yet.

Well you are still here at the moment so I hope that it has been sorted out and it should not take them 2 Days to sort it out either they should be able to do it with in 24 hours But at least I know what is up if I don't see you Hugs xxx

yes, its true. it has become part and parcel of life. so when you are disconnected, you think that you are disconnected from the world itself.actually it is not the case.you should try to learn to separate life in real and internet.

I will be sad but I will just divert myself on anything like cleaning, TV, garden! At least I will not be adding more wrinkles in my forehead if I will make it ruin my day! hahahha..I hope you will be able to get the normal connection again gemini!

oh I get to the point where I sound like a tiger grrr and then i try to lift myself above it.I have a livein computer genusis of a son but he is usually at work when I have internet problems so I have to be patient. he loves to workon my computer but then he programs them all day long at work. I am still reeling over being taken down to an eight star yester day and todayt a seven s tar and I feel really bummed out and angry and still I refuse to let some troll make me quit so Iwill keep on keeping on and hope i and my computer stand up under the pressure. good luck with your internet problems

something sure if i am on that condition, i would be its hard not to get online in one day. so when my internet connection getting down for one day, i just feel up set and try to do something else to make my good mood back again

Mine was giving me issues yesterday. I have a satelite connection and it was very windy so my connection was being very tricky it sucked.

I hate it when something goes wrong with my computer and I cannot get online. I lose out on my daily earnings and it is very frustrating too. I have to deal with it because no one else in my family knows anything about computers and how to get them working right again. I always spent my time trying to fix it. I could not focus on anything else. I have dialup so I am not offline much.

I get really annoyed when our internet is not working properly. I honestly get cranky and start hassling my hubby to fix it lol. He actually gets worse than me, and starts fiddling with the laptop, wireless connection, cable wires and all. It's not often our internet goes funny but when it does, we both get hacked off lol Hope the problem gets fixed soon!

I hate it when my internet connection doesn't work... since this is the only thing that makes up for my always boring time in the office... so when it is not working... i call and call and call the customer service of my internet provider... and don't stop until they tell me what is wrong... or until they send someone to fix my modem or do whatever it is that they have to do...

Its not just the problem I have, apart from connection troubles, its my time availability to log on, which really gave me headache. I got too busy this days, due to higher work loads assigned to me by my boss. Anyway its good for you to apologize in advance, I'll do thesame from now on.

Wel Rose..thats bad news....i must admit if my internet is down...I do miss it...its ok for a day or two though..i will just get my reading or my sewing out...but my daughters internet was down for a couple of days a wee while ago...and lol she was going bonkers!!!...she really missed it...her thing is online scrabble...she plays everyday....and shes getting better and better...she has quite a few buddies on the site now...so that was a bad couple of days for her!!...but it was Sky internet...and her hubby phoned them up..and they gave him instructions over the phone...and bingo!!..it worked .....Boy...was she chuffed..

of course,My computer and my netline usually went wrong and i had to be offline for a couple of days.But i think it is not a big deal,I can use the mobilephone to connect to internet and keep touch with my friends and tell them:hey I am ok,It is just something wrong with my PC and the everything will be ok before long!

I hope you have it back now, I am always 4 days behind in my email notifications, it seems that I can never catch up. I can last about 1 week without the internet or computer and then I go into withdrawals lol,

When the internet is off I can't take it!!! Luckily there was only one time that it was off for a substantial amount of time, and that was because there was a problem in the area. There was nothing to do but sit and watch TV, and wait for Cincinnati Bell to take care of it. The problem I run into the most is my computer. Sometimes it gets temperamental, and doesn't want to run right. I try to shut it off, but it doesn't want to do it the normal safe way of going to the button in the start menu, so I have to do a hard boot. Then I try to bring to computer back up so I can do the necessary repairs, only it doesn't want to come on!!! The lights come on and the CPU starts whirring, but it does this weird beeping and doesn't fully load. So I have to shut it off and on several times, until it doesn't do the beeping. Those days you will hear me whining "Come On, come on!!!" It usually takes me about 10-12 round of this before it will actually come on, but I sit there and keep doing it until it acts right. I just have to get on MyLot lol!!!

Oh, I feel for you! Our connection was off and on (and off and on, etc.) on Monday because Cox was updating equipment in our area. When I really wanted to get online I couldn't. I just did other things I needed to do instead.
