Online dating

Have you ever met someone from an online dating service and what did you do to make it a success? I tried this a few years ago. I made an effort to take my time in talking on the phone first. Get a feel of the weeks of ups and downs of his day. What he liked and disliked about his days. I also noticed how he listened to my daily experiences. Or did not listen. When it is time to meet, what did you do? I chose a mall with valet parking. I told several friends where I was and what time I would check in with them. Funny thing is I hit it off with the fella and when I did not call in to my friends, they interrupted the date!

Ive been members of a few dating sites. And I havent found any luck. Furthest ive gotten was talking to a girl on the phone but she never emailed me back or called she said she would call me and that I couldnt call. I hoped to go far with her but I guess it wasnt meant to be.

Online dating offers some risk, and it sounds like you have met some cautions gals. It is good that you are patient. If a man is pushy, I would not respond. Keep trying though. Even dating in social settings, you can flirt with severla people before finding a match no?

I found my soul mate on one of the dating websites. I forget which one, but we have been together for a while and are actually engaged to get married now. It was rare. We started talking on the site and that same night he drove to my house to pick me up and we went out for a few drinks. We are now living together with all 6 of our children and getting married this year.

That is a great success story for online dating. Would you have met him any other way if you did not have that option? I wish you both the most that happiness brings in your new life together.

I haven't done the internet dating but I did that old video dating or computer dating where you go into a building and have a video recorded of you and others were able to see the videos. One man liked me and we ended up dating for three years... He was a nice fellow. We met each other at a local restaraunt.
