What's your opinion on antidepressants?

Hi Swaffy, I do not like taking antidepressants, but sometimes we all have too. Blessings.

Well i take it every weekend and at during festival months i never miss vacations, that my best depression relieving out of mechanical life.

I was on meds for anxiety for years. Eventually that led me to Lexapro. The meds helped. I think the main problem with the meds not working in a lot of individuals is that they just use medication. They don't try therapy, they don't keep track of their progress and their thoughts so they have no idea what they are thinking or planning. Using one without the other really isn't a great idea in my opinion. And, neither is just prescribing medication when therapy would be the better option for some individuals.
