Why are we frustated in life?

We all know, that since childhood we always think of getting what we want, and ofcourse our parents tries to fulfil them. But when we are grown up, we think that we have lots of responsibilities and when we are unable to compete in the environment we decide to stop every thing.I mean we suicides. We kill ourself. Why do we do this? Why don't we understand that when we were baby, our parents did a lot for us.What had happened if they finished their life,if they had killed themself. Then we would have not born and could not have enjoyed our life.It is said that: "Lfe done something is better than life done nothing." Then why are we all frustated with life when we are unable to compete in the surrounding environment.Failure dosen't mean end of all. And we know that life is gifted once and after death no thing is left. What do you think.
