Indian premier league (IPL)

Yeah! even I was eagerly waiting for this. It would be great tournament because all big stage players are gathered in one event. It finishes in 3 hours and people can enjoy watching in the evenings. its is going to be a real great hit in future just like football..

20-20 is surely a hit...but I feel in the international level only...I somehow couldnt digest the selling n buying of the cricketers like slaves ...all these business men have commercialised it ...they r just bothered bout money...I liked the international 20-20 world cup but this IPL form is surely not a hit with me...I mean which team will u support???all my favourate players r scattered among teams n I wont know whether to get happy or sad wen a team loses or wins....!!!

In fact people would be happy to have this form of cricket taking over the conventional cricket. Firstly it is time saving.It is highly exciting.In this age of globalisation people are looking for short cuts to excitement and want more time for work. Even students became career oriented. They are able to recognize the value of time. So according to the changed times it is a welcome intrusion for all cricket lovers.Any game involves some number of players and there will be teams.There is some competition. Onlookers enjoy watching it. Some money is made.Well that's it! And so is with IPL.

People would definitely accept this form of game. As I have told in various other discussions,twenty 20 cricket is just like a movie. I only hope the daily dramas won't be crushed by the movies. I mean,I hope test cricket,which is the true cricket,won't be crushed by the twenty 20. Well,that doesn't mean that I am against twenty 20! I hope India finds some good new cricketers in this IPL. I also hope,cricket is viewed just as a game and not a money spinner, by the cricketers and to play in the true spirit of the game. I don't like to hear,'Only one team played in the true spirit of the game',again. Cheers ! Have a nice day
