What is the road traffic condition in your country?

i live in edinburgh, scotland. the traffic here is quite bad at the moment, it seems they are always digging up the roads for one reason or another. they are building a tram line here along one of the busiest roads, so the traffic is backed up a lot, ive taken to just walking to work as it would take me twice as long if i drove or got the bus.
