I think Dale Jr. was right on in his decision to leave DEI. What do you think?

I will be honest at first I was very upset, but after hearing why he left I understood. Theresa Earnhardt is way to greedy & a control freak. Had Dale Sr been alive he would never allowed this happen. Good luck Jr, I wish you well!!!!

Absolutely, he did. The consistency of his performance this year has been great; look at how the DEI teams are doing...

I think he did the correct thing as well. His step mother was screwing him with faulty or second hand parts so it seemed. His cars were always blowing up and breaking down. His Stepmother's attitude towards the entire situation really pissed me off considering that Dale built DEI for his children not for his witch of a wife and she wouldn't even sell 61 percent to Dale Jr. and his sister. He is doing really well at Hendrick and he is finally able to show off his true driving ability.

Looking at how high in the points he is right now, I would say he was more than right. He's going to have a great year. There's lots of races left.
Welcome to mylot by the way!!

Even though I never was a JR fan.. I found it dispicable what Teresa was doing to him. I am happy he is now with Hendrick.. and it is evident by his preformance that he is MUCH happier too. I am still warming up to the idea of him being on the Hendrick team.. (yes I am a Gordon fan) STOP THROWING STUFF AT ME!!
I think it is much better for him or anyone to be happy where they are in life
