I want Kobe Bryant from the Lakers to win the MVP. He is very much deserving because he has been a leader, has helped with the teams growth, and have been statistically a fantastic player.
But I fear that Chris Paul from the New O. will get it. He would be deserving to but I hope that Kobe gets it.

CP3 should win it. He is what makes the Hornets engine run. The Lakers did not start their surge until getting Gasol. Kobe has talent around him, he does not make the engine run the way CP3 does. MVP is not best player, it's most valuable to his team

I highly disagree the only constant in this seasons lakers was the oustanding play by Bryant. When the lakers had Bynum they were surging just fine. Then he went down, therefor he had to be replaced..per sey.. so thats where Gasol came in.
Yet dont get me wrong Cp3 was a splendid candidate, but I felt that KB was better for his overall impact on his team..
Not to mention that he has gone farther in the playoffs...

kobe is a strong candidate for this year's mvp but i think he still doesn't win this award yet. i think he loses in the media voting. i'm personally voting for lebron james.

Unfortunatley James received a low amount of votes.. and KB took the majority...

this season kobe really deserves to be the nba most valuable player. he really carries his team. he proves everybody that he and the lakers can win without the power of shaquille o'neal. kobe really is a fantastic player he can score (score a lot!) he can score 40 a game if he wants to but he now trust and shares the ball to his teammates. one important thing that kobe really improve is his defense. the lakers are a winning even before pau gasol became his partner. chris paul is also great but i think this is kobe's year.

Its great to see that KB has become a leader, and one who is a team player, rather than one who pushes forward the selfish ball...

I also believe that KB would be a fair candidate. He has taken this current laker squad to new heights.
However if CP3 gets the award, I would not be upset, because he has done an amazing job as the hornest's point guard.

The only people that were surprised by the rise of the Hornets, are those that were not keeping close tabs on them. Last season CP3, West, and Chandler all showed progression but they just lacked consistancy.
And when it comes to Kobe you are completely wrong. His scoring dropped this season and his assist went up. Many first quarter he has done nothing but look for open teamates. He has been instrumental in keeping the offense flowing correctly, and he does not go solo in an attempt to get "his".
And its not even funny how much effort he has put on the defencive end.
Not to mention that he has incorporated along with Phil, a winning mentality into this team.
Yes CP3 is worthy of MVP. Yet please don't say he is a selfish ballhog, when his actions claim different.
