help to turn on Desk Top

i hav a p3 desk top 5 yrs old of HP! i m facing problem in starting up it! it has ATX cabinate .. wen i inser power lead into it , all fans, cd rom, pwr LED start but nt not the booting... i checked the jumpers and were rite..i evn used jumpers to reset the CMOS/ BIOS... if any body can help plz hlp me

Generally, these are cause by poor or loose contacts. Try cleaning the memory contacts or interchange their position, make sure they fit properly. Do the same with your video card. Press also all PCI cards and connectors that you can find in your motherboard including the ones in your drives.
