Driving music

I have some music that I just love listening to while driving, it really livens up my journey. Artists I listen to regularly include Basement Jaxx, Badmarsh and Shri and (gulp, don't tell anyone...) Justine Timberlake.
I noticed that when I'm stuck in traffic I skip to something a bit mellow, and when the road is clear I crank it up and put something fast on. Oh and I'm not the type of driver who listens to music so loud that you can hear it halfway down the street. It is rude to inflict music on other people, well that's what I think anyway.
Do you like having music in the car when driving? What do you like to listen to?

yes, i do like to listen to music while im in the car. music is a good thing when your driving. various music. when me and my siblings drive around we usually listen to music thats upbeat. or techno music no matter what time of day. its just fun to listen to. but when its just me i prefer soft and slow music. easy listening you might call it. but it also depends on the day right? early mornings should be types of music that are upbeat. noon time should be easy listening till afternoon or something upbeat again since there are tendencies to be sleepy in the afternoon. and then going home are soft music to relax and make a transition from work mode to going home and relax mode. dont you think so?

Yes I totally agree and I like the softer slow music just when I leave work to relax me. Then I put something more upbeat on to keep me awake once I've relaxed...lol

I like listening to music in cars but I myself dont drive (yet)!! Normally we tend to listen to the radio and since its not me driving, I think the driver has the say over what is played as its them that needs to concentrate.
I hate it how people inflict their music by having it that loud you can hear them coming before you see them!!

Yup, I do like listening to music when I am driving. I listen to Disney Music (e.g. Under the Sea from Little Mermaid, You'll Be in My Heart from Tarzan, When You Wish Upon the Star from Pinnochio). This kind of music relaxes my mind and takes the things (that stress me) in my mind away.
I also listen to Nora Jones, Gospel Music, and a lot more but most of the time, it's my CD of Disney Music that is playing. It just takes all the pressure away.
