Do you buy any special tools for photography?

I bought the professional photography tent and it delivered to me today and I am so happy. It is a little expensive but I think it will be worth. I can take professional photos for products with this photography tent when I go out. It is good enough to use the light from the sun. If I have to take photos at home, then I have to use some electrical lights and they are very expensive. I need this tent as I have to take good photos for my products which I sell online. It will attract buyers, I believe. A good photo will lead to a good business.

Frankly speaking, I am very dump in photography. All this while I have been using the automatic camera which will do all the focusing, iris adjustment and trap speed adjust by itself. When I was a boy, I had been playing with a manual camera bought by my parents. From it, I learnt the concept of lighting, speed and focusing. Since I am not an enthusiast in photography, I didn't buy any special tools for it. Nowadays, I have been using the camera function built in my cell phone to take photos :)

You are right. We need time for the learning process. But my problem is, I lost my interest in photography now. I have friends who are really interested in it. He showed me his masterpiece when I was in Korea.

Everybody doesn't know how to use the camera very well at the beginning. It needs time for us to learn from it

Nope. Haven't got to the stage where I need a photography tent for my photos. Most expensive photographic equipment I bought is the upgrade I did last year. Got me a nice DSLR. heh heh... and I love it so much! Still working out the kinks and familiarizing with all the functions and controls. But most of the shots taken so far are good. Training my photographic eye so that I can handle bigger projects in future! Woo~Hoo... cannot wait for that day to come!

I bought some lighting (half my lighting is professional photography stuff, the other half was much cheaper and was purchased at Home Depot). And I also have a few nice backdrops. I have a photographer friend that I borrow poles from sometimes for the backdrop. But since I'm not doing photography professionally right now, I usually just clamp my backdrops to anything around the house to get some nice photos here.

Lightings are always so expensive for photography This is why I bought the super soft tent right now. At least I can use the sun light to take good photos. I want to take good photos at home by the lights, but when I see their price, ...

Good, great for you! I bought my new digital camera not too long ago and I haven't planned on buying anything additional to photography so far. Maybe just some books describing some technical skills I need to pay attention as start out. But currently I will suppress my urge to spend large sum of money on this particular new hobby of mine!

I love photography, though I would never confess to being an expert by any means at all! My most professional-looking photos tend to turn out when I have used the Macro setting on my Fuji, which makes the foreground/background sharp and the rest blurry. This didn't cost anything as it's already a feature on my camera. But I' addicted to it! I have bought around a dozen lenses, which I get from ebay, and find I can get great bargains. I usually try to barter with the seller too, and ask for a big discount if I buy a few things from them. If you don't ask, you don't get! I agree that you need good equiptment but I think luck and having the eye for photography is much more important. I wish you well with your business! Do you have a link? I would lvoe to see some of them! Hope you enjoy your tent (I do love gadgets and things!!) and let us know how the photos come out!

Lenses are alway so expensive I haven't used this professional photography tent to take product photos yet as I have to work in day time. And when I return home, it'll be too late to do so. So I will try to do it in weekends.

I agree with you. It will surely help your business. But since photography is not a career for me, though I like taking picture, our digital camera is sufficient enough for me. I don't need to buy any tools for it... except the batteries and the special case to protect it.
