I had med checkup (complete one) recently due to my on and on headache. My last visit was at Neurologist (after undergo several test, and he came up with the decision that part of it ( mainly because of my wisdom teeth didn't come out properly and somehow gave pressure to nerve system) has s'thing do with my habit of eating chocolate. I'm doom! I've been avoiding it for almost a week so far no headache,...i thought i'm ok but...sometime i have this urge to try say, maybe yes maybe no,....but the thought of having the pain again kind a stop me. Should i go for second opinion from another doctor?

I know it stinks when you can't have something you really love but if I eat chocolate I get an immediate migraine not a regular headache but the big one. I decided that chocolate was not worth the migraine therefore I do not eat chocolate anymore. Do I miss it? HECK YES!!!!! Anyway it is always a good idea to get a second opinion especially if you don't really agree with your Doctor. But a good sign that he may be right is the fact that you have'nt had a headache since you gave up chocolate. Take Care Taylor

That's too bad! I think you should see another doctor to see if this problem can be fixed. I wonder why other foods don't bother you? I had chocolate yesterday and it bothered one of my wisdom teeth, too, but it wasn't that bad. I'm not supposed to eat chocolate, either, because of the stimulants in them. But, I do anyway, just not that much. I just love chocolate too much. But, I try to eat Carob whenever possible. It's just not the same.
